The fall run is in full swing with SUPER Blackfishing and Striper fishing this week. The Marilyn Jean Jean IV has been limiting out on Tog all week while the Brooklyn IV and Marilyn Jean 36′ has been jigging anf trolling the Striped Bass near the inlet. The Marilyn Jean IV has also been catching the Stripers well on the 7pm night trips using live eels for bait.
Some nice Weakfish have been caught on the 5-9pm open boat fishing trips this week. We have also been catching Spots, Porgy’s and Bluefish well.
Great Day Fishing! Big seabass and fluke!
We spent most of the the weekend Fluke fishing. Saturday mornings charter was a little slow burt but the action got better and better on each following trip. Sunday afternoons trip had some very nice Fluke and a couple of Porgys and Seabass to go with em !
We jiigged up a bunch of Blues by the inlet before making a few drifts for Fluke on Friday afternoons trip but the Fluke were as willing to bite as the Blues.
On Saturday afternoons trip the Fluke were more cooperative and there were a few Blues mixed in.
With the good numbers of Bass around we have been Striper fishing day and night. The day trips are primarily jigging the fish and the night time bite has been on clams. Either way the fishing has been good to very good on just about every trip lately. Come on down and and enjoy.
We did not sail Thursday due to the strong wind.
Capt. Tony was back out there today and again Striper Fishing was the way to go. Many limits of Keeper Bass and some nice big Flounder mixed in.
We are now sailing 7AM EVERYDAY We will be bottom fishing and Striped Bass Fishing.
Wed. 4/24 Fishing Report
We did not sail the am trips on Monday or Tuesday it was just to windy to fish the ocean.
Wednesday 4/24
We went out this morning and Capt.Tony tried a few drops in the ocean but with a leftover swell and dirty water from the previous days wind, there was little life on the wrecks today. Fortunetly he got wind of a good Striper bite up to the north and got in on it just in time to put some keeper Striped Bass in the boat to help salvage the day.
These Bass are eating clams and we always have fresh clams on board, so if the oportunity is there to put some Stripers in the boat on the day trips we will take advantage!
Nice weather for the the Mudhole Marathons this weekend and Capt Tony reported a decent day of fishing today. There was a steady pick of Ling all day with some nice Cod mixed in and over all better life than last week. Zino slamed this nice double header keeper Cod this afternoon!
