Fishing Reports

Porgy and Seabass fishing is at its peak in October.  Blackfish season will also open up soon so its a great time to book a private charter or hop on one of our open boat trips !

The Fluke fishing has been good to very good on our private charters this past week and we have also started our 5 to 9pm open boat Fluke trips this weekend with good catches of Fluke !  Here are some pics from our last few trips.

Had our first Fluke charter of the season on Tuesday 5/20 and the crew from the FDNY captured some nice ones !

We had an awesome day of Blufishing with a couple of Striped Bass and Fluke mixed in on both of our Saturday 5/17 charters.  Both trips had loads of fun hauling in guerilla Blues right here in  the calm waters of Jamaica Bay !

The fall run is in full swing with SUPER Blackfishing and Striper fishing this week.  The Marilyn Jean Jean IV has been limiting out on Tog all week while the Brooklyn IV and Marilyn Jean 36′  has been jigging anf trolling the Striped Bass near the inlet.  The Marilyn Jean IV has also been catching

Some nice Weakfish have been caught on the 5-9pm open boat fishing trips this week.  We have also been catching Spots, Porgy’s and Bluefish well.

We spent most of the the weekend Fluke fishing.  Saturday mornings charter  was a little slow burt but the action got better and better on each following trip.  Sunday afternoons trip had some very nice Fluke and a couple of Porgys and Seabass to go with em !

We jiigged up a bunch of  Blues by the inlet before making a few drifts for Fluke on Friday afternoons trip but the Fluke were as willing to bite as the Blues. On Saturday afternoons trip the Fluke were more cooperative and there were a few Blues mixed in.
