- Deposit & Payment: A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking. Final payments must be made prior to departure. Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit cards or other payment methods listed on our Site.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 3 days in advance of the scheduled trip are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 1 day before the trip may forfeit the deposit. Cancellations due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion.
3. Weather Policy
Our trips are weather dependent, and we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule trips in the event of inclement weather or unsafe conditions. We will make every effort to notify you of cancellations as soon as possible. If your trip is canceled due to weather, you will be offered a choice of rescheduling or receiving a refund.
4. Trip Requirements
- Arrival Time: Guests must arrive at least 60 minutes prior to departure. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the trip, and refunds will not be issued for missed trips.
- Health & Safety: All passengers must follow safety instructions provided by the captain and crew. Passengers are responsible for wearing life jackets when required and following all safety regulations. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behavior or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Children: Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Life jackets are mandatory for children and will be provided.
5. Liability
- Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that participating in a fishing trip involves certain risks, including but not limited to weather conditions, water-related hazards, and equipment issues. By booking and participating in our trips, you assume all risks and agree that NYC Fishing Boat is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the trip.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NYC Fishing Boat , its affiliates, officers, employees, and crew from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
6. Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, or remove individuals from trips if they engage in disruptive, illegal, or unsafe behavior. No refund will be issued in such cases.
7. Fishing Licenses & Catch Policy
- Fishing License: All guests are required to have a valid New York State fishing license unless exempt by law. We may provide assistance in obtaining licenses upon request, but it is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure they are properly licensed.
- Catch Policy: Any fish caught during the trip that meets legal requirements is yours to keep. You may also choose to release your catch. Our crew will assist in cleaning and packaging fish at the end of the trip if requested.
